ECOMINGA AMAZÓNICA
Ecominga is an international cooperative project which aims to contribute to the ecodevelopment of peoples living in the Bolivian Amazon, particularly in the realm of environmental health with special attention given to water and food.
The project brings UQAM together with three universities located in the Bolivian Amazon:

In the spirit of collaborative research, Ecominga’s four university teams are developing a training program for community leaders of Bolivia’s Amazonian region.
The Ecominga project is funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in the framework of the University Partnerships in Cooperation and Development (UPCD) Program and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).
